The concourse at Tempe Diablo. There's no shade in the stands at Tempe, which makes this park's aluminum benches unbearable on hot days. This year was unseasonably cool, in contrast to the very early summer last year, and so it was quite comfortable. At the Cubs' spring training home of Hohokam, where Cubs games routinely sell out the entire spring training season, programs go for $5 and have a terrible scorecard. Programs at Tempe, however, sell for a very reasonable $1, and while I have yet to try the concessions, they smell wonderful.
