Jeromy Burnitz. With the coming thin free agent market, I
wouldn't be surprised to see him return as a Cub. Like a lot of
hitters, he really,
really likes Wrigley, hitting more
than half of his home runs there. Whether the 36-year-old will
be capable of holding down an outfield corner spot with his
offense is another matter.
I decided against bringing the camera with me on Friday's game,
because we were to sit in the upper deck, and rain threatened.
As a result, we missed all the right-handed batters on both
teams. Too bad, though the pictures probably wouldn't have been as good.
