Oliver Perez, erstwhile ace, now just another thrower. Following his miraculous 2004 season, he relapsed into another bad season. After losing about 10 MPH on his fastball coming out of spring training, there was much speculation that he had shoulder problems, or possibly issues resulting from new mechanics incoming pitching coach Jim Colborn had him working on. Regardless, he's very close to going back to AAA.
