David
Dellucci was for years a Jeff DaVanon-style reserve for the
Diamondbacks, but like former teammate Luis
Gonzalez, he came to power late in his career. Dellucci hit
29 homers last year, and BPro thinks his surge is for real,
noting he hit better (.262/.382/.545) away from home than in
Texas (.240/.354/.485). Dellucci's problem has always been
health; if he can stay on the field, he's a big asset to the
Rangers, especially at the price.
