Behold the remnant of the Ramon Ortiz trade, Dustin
Moseley. A first-round draft pick of the Reds in 2000, he
fell apart in the thin air at Salt Lake. He can throw four
pitches for strikes, but none of them faster than 90 MPH, and
his
K/9 collapsed to a very non-prospecty 4.15 last year. He
fell off the Baseball America Top 30 for the Angels
from 2005, and deservedly so. If he's lucky, the Angels can salvage him as a middle reliever.
