Leadoff batter Matt Cline gets aboard on an errant throw by 3B Bryant Nolte in the first. Nolte was a source of trouble for the Flames throughout, and was charged with an error. Notice I didn't say that Nolte was charged with an error in this one, though; it was close enough, in my opinion, that if the throw had been on-line, the umpire might have given the defense the benefit of the doubt and the inning would have ended without Cline scoring -- which he did following a Danny Espinosa sac bunt and a sac fly from Evan "No Relation To Eva" Longoria.
